Introduction: What do you think of as being foolish? Childlike behavior? Daredevil stunts? Criminal activity? Our passage introduces us to the type of person that God calls a fool.

2. He Was Only Concerned with the Temporal: He ignored the eternal.

Conclusion: There’s more to life than what is visible. Followers of Christ are to be people who are spiritually aware, eternally secure, and always focused on God’s purposes above our own: the wise man is one who is rich towards God (v. 21).
